We are committed to providing exceptional patient care, and in the midst of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, we want to provide you with as much information as possible about the procedures we will be following.

To this end, our team is frequently accessing guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the Florida Department of Health and other agencies so we can continue to follow best practices and provide you with the most updated information.

So we want to share several of the steps we are taking to keep you safe:

When you call to schedule an appointment

If you are scheduling an appointment, we ask the following: i) if you are experiencing symptoms such as fever (higher than 100 degrees F); ii) shortness of breath, or cough; iii) have traveled to a region having cases of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the 14 days before you got sick or have come into contact with a person confirmed to have COVID-19, please call us at 352-867-0444 to reschedule your appointment.

Entering the facility

When you are checking in for your appointment, our Intake Coordinators and Receptionists will be asking the above series of questions each time you arrive at our facility. If necessary, we may take your temperature and you may need to be rescheduled.

At the office

You might notice that we have taken precautions such as removing magazines, increased the number of hand sanitizer stations, etc. Our team will be redoubling efforts to assure equipment and surfaces are thoroughly wiped down with a multi-purpose cleaner and high-grade disinfectant.

What you can do

You can help prevent the spread of coronavirus by following some basic practices: wash your hands often with soap and water (20-30 seconds), use hand sanitizer as a substitute; avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth; cough or sneeze into your arm/elbow and/or please cover your nose/mouth with a tissue (dispose in the covered trash bin); frequently clean and disinfect surfaces and objects.

As above, please keep in mind, if you are currently experiencing symptoms such as fever (higher than 100 degrees F), shortness of breath, or cough, please call us at 352-867-0444 to reschedule your appointment. If you have traveled outside of the U.S. or have had contact with a person known to have the Coronavirus (COVID-19), please call us or send a message through your patient portal account to reschedule your appointment.

On behalf of every member of our family, please be assured when I say we are focused on your well-being and proud of the role we play in improving the lives of our patients every day.

Best Regards,
